Our products are engineered to meet the exacting regulatory and performance requirements of these industries, with over six decades of application expertise informing every product we design.
Can I order custom-sized freezer racks and storage solutions?
Yes, custom fit is the core of how we work. Most of our racks, canisters and boxes are built to your specification rather than pulled from a fixed catalogue, and our configurator lets you set dimensions, materials, handle style, locking and labelling before you order. If your freezer, workflow or sample format doesn't match anything standard, that's usually the point where we're most useful. Tell us the application and we'll design around it.
What materials are your cryogenic storage products made from?
Primarily stainless steel and aluminium, with plastic used where it suits the application: Our goblets, for example. Stainless steel is the usual choice for racks and drawer systems that need rigidity and repeated handling at ultra-low temperatures; aluminium is lighter and works well for canes, dividers and identification tabs. Material is one of the options you select when configuring a product, so you can match it to your temperature range and handling requirements.
Do you offer bulk pricing for large orders?
Yes. Many of our smaller components like identification tabs, canes, goblets, etc...are priced in volume packs, and unit cost drops as quantity rises. For larger or recurring orders, or for a custom build across multiple sites, talk to us directly and we'll quote it properly rather than by the piece.
How does shipping work, and how long will my order take to arrive?
Everything ships from our manufacturing facility in Fridley, Minnesota, via UPS. In-stock accessories — canes, goblets, tongs, identification tabs — usually leave quickly. Custom and made-to-order products are built to your specification, so we confirm the lead time on your order acknowledgement rather than giving you a number that might not hold. Larger racks and bulk orders may ship by freight, quoted separately before despatch. If you're working to a deadline, tell us up front and we'll tell you honestly whether we can meet it.
What is Insure's Custom-Fit Promise?
It's our commitment that the product fits your application rather than the other way round. We've been manufacturing precision components since 1961. First as Brooklyn Tool, now as Insure Cryo. In that time we've learned that the difference between a rack that works and one that frustrates a lab is usually a few millimetres or a handle in the wrong place. So we start with your freezer, your sample format and your workflow, then build to that. If a standard product genuinely fits, we'll tell you.
